The name
Lios, from Helios.
Lios is a careers platform for graduate roles, postgraduate roles, internships and apprenticeships. The name comes from Helios, the Greek god of the sun: the one who saw everything, and who revealed what was hidden. That is the job. Light on a process that is usually opaque.

No organisation can buy its way up your feed, buy a tier, or buy a fit score. That principle shapes what gets listed, how it is ranked, and what we will and will not do with your information.
Built for candidates
A tool that acts in the candidate’s interest rather than the employer’s. Nothing else on the site is allowed to compromise that.
Nothing sponsored
Nothing in your feed is there because someone paid for it. Ranking, tiering and fit scores cannot be bought.
Your data is yours
We do not sell your data. Nothing you upload is shared with organisations, and employers cannot see your profile, your saved roles or your tracker.
Your application is yours
We are not a recruiter and we never submit anything for you. You apply through the organisation’s own process.
Eos and Selene
Two assistants. Eos knows Lios inside out and answers anything about it. Selene is your coach: mock interviews, feedback on a CV or cover letter, practice drills and advice on where to aim. Neither is regulated advice, and both say so.

Selection reflects an internal assessment of an organisation’s standing within its sector, including selectivity and the strength of the platform a role provides. We cannot disclose which organisations were considered and not selected, or the specific criteria behind our in-house method.

No organisation can buy its way up your feed, buy a tier, or buy a fit score. That principle shapes what gets listed, how it is ranked, and what we will and will not do with your information. Lios is free to use right now. If that ever changes, it will be announced clearly and in advance.
Who is behind Lios
Built for the candidate, not the employer.
Lios is built by Lios Labs Ltd, a UK organisation. It started with someone who understood the points of friction in this market first-hand, and who wanted a tool that acted in the candidate’s interest rather than the employer’s. Everything since has followed from that.
